About me

My name is Paulomi Shah. I am a Hong Kong-based mathematics instructor. I obtained Montessori training and am qualified as a Montessori teacher in Bengaluru, India.
I've been a teacher for more than a decade. My area of expertise is teaching primary school mathematics. I also use the Montessori technique to teach English phonics to young kids. I've taught kids from over 15 different countries and am currently teaching five different curriculums (e.g. Local, DSS, IB, British). I educate students from seven different locations both online and in person.
Before I began teaching, I worked in the corporate world for a few years. I wanted to stay close to my first child after she was born and contribute to various stages of her development. I was a firm believer in the Montessori system of education and wanted to pursue a teaching career after studying it.
On a personal note, I am married and the proud mother of two great children. My husband and I focused on their language and math skills in the early years of their education.

why polymath?

Math is important in a variety of academic topics as well as decision-making throughout one's life.
I work to ignite kids' interest in mathematics and assist them in grasping the subject.
I've noticed over the years that consistent practice can make a significant impact in a student's capacity to learn and achieve in a subject.
Polymath was created to give students with high-quality worksheets, regular practice, video lessons, and required support.
For advanced mathematical skills necessary at Olympiad level, we've added 'Polymath plus.' It gives students the tools they need to participate in advanced mathematical competitions.
